City Releases the Final Environmental Impact Report Addendum for Review

The City has completed the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) Addendum that includes an evaluation of changes to the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Project since completion of FEIR Report in August 2018. The California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requires that a lead or responsible agency prepare an addendum if some changes have been made to a project following certification of the FEIR if none of the conditions calling for preparation of a subsequent or supplemental EIR have occurred. An addendum does not need to be circulated for review, but rather be attached to the EIR. However, the addendum is being circulated for a minimum period of 14 days with the State Clearinghouse and locally with the County Clerk. This circulation is not a requirement of CEQA, but rather a requirement of the State Water Board’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Program.

The FEIR Addendum will be brought to City Council on September 10, 2019.
